WOW, what a weekend it has been! This was me at 7pm last night with my last three orders as we sold out! We are back this Monday lunchtime with some banging Bank Holiday Bânh Mi’s - serving til around 3pm. I’m REALLY looking forward to that ice cold pint later today after what has been one of the most amazing weekends for vegan food down the quayside 🌱🤘 Thank you to everyone who has came along this weekend and supported us and shared your experience on your socials. The feedback has been incredible and I’m so excited to bring you more exciting flavours over the coming months. Our ‘One Loaf at a Time’ employability course is a 4-week programme combining baking & employability. Please note this is not a paid position. Our course runs every Monday and Tuesday from 10 – 2pm and we combine baking withtaking an in-depth look at your journey into employment or further training- as a group and also on a 1-2-1 basis. Please note that some of this course may be delivered on-line (details to be confirmed) Our baking covers the areas of no bake sweet treats, scones, cakes, pastry, pies and bread. This is a real hands-on practical programme bringing people together to support the pathway into employment. Our programme is accredited with the ASDAN accreditation body, and all our trainees will receive a certificate for the skills/ competencies demonstrated during the programme. Please note – we are a small bakery and cannot offer paid employment at the end of this course – but we can support you into finding employment. Eligibility Our course is postcode dependent and your eligibility will be checked on application. You must be unemployed and in receipt of Universal Credit or classed as inactive.
