Bakery Days Terms & Conditions

By booking any of our courses, you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.
Age requirements: Not suitable for children under the age of 12. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult also participating in the workshop.

Health & Safety: All participants should wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes. Aprons will be provided. If you have been or are suffering from food poisoning or an upset stomach or exhibit any signs of COVID-19 (or have come into contact with anybody who is exhibiting these symptoms) within 48 hours of the course, we would ask that you not to attend and please contact us in the first instance. All open wounds must be covered, ideally with a blue plaster. If you don’t have a blue plaster, let us know on arrival, and we will be happy to provide one.

Delivery – Workshops & Gift Vouchers: Upon successfully completing an online order, you will receive confirmation of your order by email to your nominated email address. You will also be able to download a PDF proof of your course at the time of booking. Courses can be booked without dates to be given as gifts if required, and a PDF bearing a gift voucher code will be sent to your email address to be printed off or emailed as a gift. Voucher codes can be redeemed on the website to book specific courses. Voucher codes must be redeemed within the expiry date as shown on the voucher.

Cancellations: To request a cancellation you must provide Big River Bakery with written notice via email – gail@bigriverbakery.com. Unless you have received acknowledgement that we have received your request, you cannot consider your request delivered. You may only terminate the contract in the following circumstances. You may request a change of course date up three weeks before the start of the course and we will happily transfer you to another course date, subject to availability. You may also request a refund up to three weeks before the start of the course you have booked. In both instances, rescheduling or refunding bookings will be subject to an administration charge of £20.If you cannot attend a course within 48 hours of the course date, we regret that we will be unable to refund or reschedule the workshop. Refunding bookings will be subject to an administration charge of £20.

Gift vouchers: Refunds are not available on gift voucher purchases, nor can gift vouchers be exchanged for cash or other goods. Gift vouchers are transferable and valid until expiry date as shown on voucher.

Cancellations by Big River Bakery: Big River Bakery is entitled to cancel any course at any time subject to the repayment of fees received in respect of the course. In the event of cancellation of a course by ourselves, we undertake to offer a suitable transfer to an alternative date or course, or a full refund (within 14 days) of any course fees.
